Flintoff and Illingworth Star as Australia A Crush India A

Tess Flintoff and Milly Illingworth produced an outstanding fast-bowling display to set up a dominant victory for Australia A, crushing India A after exposing a fragile top order.

India A's batting lineup crumbled early under sustained pace and precise line and length, leaving them with an underpar total of 118 that proved far too simple for the hosts to reel in.

Illingworth made vital early inroads with a high-energy spell, unsettling the openers with sharp movement, while Flintoff capitalized on the built-up pressure to clean up the middle order.

The top-order collapse left India A searching for answers, as regular breakthroughs thwarted any realistic chance of building a substantial partnership during the middle overs.

Chasing 118 for victory, Australia A’s batters mounted a calm and calculated response, finding the boundary with regularity to keep the required rate minimal throughout the chase.

The comprehensive win highlights Australia A’s formidable depth across formats, while leaving India A with urgent tactical adjustments to address ahead of their upcoming fixtures.
