Gull Feroza Penalised for Showing Dissent in Women's T20 Asia Cup Match
Pakistan batter Gull Feroza has been penalised for demonstrating dissent following an lbw dismissal during her side's Women's T20 Asia Cup fixture against Hong Kong.

Pakistan opening batter Gull Feroza has been officially penalised for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct during her team's Women's T20 Asia Cup match against Hong Kong.
The sanction follows an incident where Feroza reacted inappropriately after being given out leg before wicket. Upon receiving the decision from the on-field official, the top-order batter visibly expressed her frustration on the pitch before walking back to the pavilion.
Match officials charged Feroza under Article 2.8 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which covers showing dissent at an umpire's decision during an international fixture.
Along with an official reprimand, one demerit point was added to Feroza's disciplinary record. This represented her first offence within a rolling 24-month period.
The batter admitted to the breach and accepted the sanction proposed by the match referee, making a formal disciplinary hearing unnecessary.
The charge was laid by the on-field umpires in coordination with the third and fourth umpires officiating the tournament clash.
Under ICC regulations, Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand, a maximum penalty of 50 percent of a player's match fee, and one or two demerit points.
