The ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2027 is set to commence from January 21 in Bangladesh and Nepal, featuring 16 teams vying for the title. The third edition of the tournament will consist of four groups playing a total of 41 matches across four venues in the two co-hosting nations.

Matches will be hosted at the Bir Shrestha Shahid Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Cricket Stadium in Chattogram, Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet, TU International Cricket Stadium, and Upper Mulpani International Cricket Ground in Kathmandu.

Group A features India, Ireland, West Indies, and Nepal, while Group B contains South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Samoa. Group C brings together Australia, Bangladesh, Nigeria, and the United Arab Emirates, with England, Sri Lanka, USA, and Scotland making up Group D.

The opening day will showcase eight teams across four fixtures, highlighted by co-hosts Bangladesh taking on the UAE. Nepal will begin their campaign the following day against Ireland, while defending champions India square off against the West Indies.

ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta emphasized the tournament's significance in nurturing upcoming talent, stating that it offers young players the opportunity to compete at the highest level in their age group and gain global experience.

The group stage matches run through January 26, followed by the Super Six stage divided into two groups. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals scheduled for February 4, with the final taking place on February 6.
