Bangladesh A have been drawn alongside Sri Lanka A, Afghanistan A and Hong Kong, China, in Group A of the Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026, which begins in Qatar on November 19.

Group B comprises India A, Pakistan A, Nepal and the UAE. The tournament will be played in the 50-over format, replacing the T20 format used in the inaugural edition in Qatar last year.

Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka will field their A teams, while Hong Kong, China, Nepal and the UAE will compete with their senior national sides.

Matches will be played at two venues in Doha: West End International Cricket Stadium and the University of Doha for Science and Technology Cricket Ground.

Bangladesh A will open their campaign against Hong Kong, China, on November 19 before taking on Afghanistan A on November 21 and Sri Lanka A on November 23.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, scheduled for November 26 and 27, with the final set for November 29.

Bangladesh A finished runners-up in last year’s inaugural edition after losing to Pakistan A in a Super Over in a thrilling final.
