A ruthless Indian side showcased their white-ball depth once again as a blistering half-century from Sanju Samson and an explosive burst from Abhishek Sharma propelled the hosts to an emphatic series victory in just 14.5 overs.

Having already asserted their dominance earlier in the series, India left no room for an opponent comeback, combining disciplined bowling with aggressive top-order striking to seal the trophy with games to spare.

Earlier in the contest, young allrounder Nitish Kumar Reddy set up the command with a decisive spell, picking up three crucial wickets to dismantle the middle order and restrict the visitors to a modest total.

Reddy broke key partnerships through sharp execution, consistently attacking the stumps and denying the opposition any chance of late-overs acceleration.

Chasing a comfortable target, India made light work of the pursuit from the outset. Abhishek Sharma unleashed an aggressive 39-run cameo inside the powerplay to throw the opening attack completely off their lengths.

At the other end, Sanju Samson anchored the pursuit with effortless strokeplay, compiling an elegant 57 filled with crisp boundary hits across the ground.

The duo’s relentless boundary-striking killed off any hopes of a contest, allowing India to cross the finish line with more than five overs left in the bank.

With the series safely locked in their trophy cabinet, India can now experiment with their bench strength in the remaining fixtures as they continue honing squad combinations.
