Bangladesh off-spinner Aliss Al Islam has been reported with a suspect bowling action during the United Arab Emirates Tri-Series match against Afghanistan in Sharjah on Wednesday.

The match officials' report cited concerns regarding the legality of the 29-year-old's bowling action during the contest.

Aliss made his debut in this fixture, conceding 47 runs in 8.3 overs without claiming a wicket as Bangladesh fell to a seven-wicket defeat.

Following the assessment, Aliss will undergo an Independent Assessment of his bowling action at an ICC Accredited Testing Centre in accordance with the ICC Illegal Bowling Action Regulations, according to an ICC press release.

This marks the third time Aliss has been reported for a suspect bowling action, with his previous two instances both occurring in the Bangladesh Premier League.

The first such incident took place back in 2019 during his debut season in the domestic tournament, while the second came more recently in 2025.
