Rahmat Shah calls hard-fought Abu Dhabi draw 'equal to a win'

Afghanistan batter Rahmat Shah described the team's hard-fought draw in Abu Dhabi as being 'equal to a win' following a resilient batting display.

The tense encounter saw Afghanistan navigate tricky phases where losing another wicket would have proved extremely costly for the side.

Addressing the lower-order approach, coach Richard Pybus shared a lighthearted reaction regarding number nine batter Qais Ahmad.

'Qais paid absolutely no attention to my advice whatsoever,' joked Richard Pybus after the batter brought out his big shots under pressure.

The bold strokes from the lower order injected crucial momentum and helped Afghanistan salvage the memorable draw in Abu Dhabi.
