Ravindra and Chapman Ruled Out of India ODIs
New Zealand will be without key players Rachin Ravindra and Mark Chapman for the upcoming ODI series against India due to fitness and injury concerns.

New Zealand have suffered a major blow ahead of their upcoming limited-overs assignment against India, with both Rachin Ravindra and Mark Chapman sidelined from the ODI series. Squad balance takes a significant hit as team management looks to navigate these crucial absences.
Coach Rob Walter explained that while Ravindra is fully capable of batting, the physical risk of diving on his recovering shoulder has ultimately ruled him out of the five-match series. Pushing him too hard in the field could jeopardize his long-term recovery.
To cover the depleted ranks, Tim Seifert has been added to the squad for the entire series. Meanwhile, Henry Nicholls and Dean Foxcroft have also been brought in to bolster the batting depth, with Nicholls featuring for the first three ODIs and Foxcroft stepping in for the final two games.
The adjustments create a shifting dynamic within the touring side as they prepare to face a formidable Indian outfit. Management will rely heavily on the incoming replacements to fill the void left by two of their core performers.
