Prasidh Krishna ruled out of final ODI; Sundar misses T20Is
Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out of the final ODI against West Indies due to a hamstring injury, while Washington Sundar misses the T20Is.

Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out of the third and final ODI against the West Indies after sustaining a hamstring injury. The Board of Control for Cricket in India confirmed the development, naming Anshul Kamboj as his replacement in the squad ahead of the match.
Prasidh managed to bowl just five overs during the second ODI in Guwahati before limping off to the dressing room. He leaked 45 runs and picked up a single wicket during his brief spell.
The team management opted against taking any risks with the fast bowler, keeping his upcoming involvement for the two-Test series against New Zealand in November in mind. Anshul Kamboj is set to link up with the squad in Chandigarh ahead of the final fixture.
In a related squad adjustment, the Senior Selection Committee withdrew Washington Sundar from the upcoming five-match T20I series against the West Indies. Naman Dhir has been called up to take his place in the shortest format.
The decision regarding Sundar was finalized in consultation with the team management to aid his red-ball preparation. With the Ranji Trophy season starting on October 11, the all-rounder will get crucial game time for his state team.
India currently holds an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series following an emphatic eight-wicket victory in Guwahati. Shubman Gill struck a brilliant double century while Rohit Sharma notched his 35th ODI hundred to chase down a target of 406.
Prasidh's setback adds to the mounting injury concerns within the Indian camp, drawing scrutiny toward the Centre of Excellence. Other notable names such as Hardik Pandya, Varun Chakaravarthy, and Harshit Rana continue to remain on the sidelines.
