Wasim Jaffer Backs Bhuvneshwar Kumar's T20I Return
Former India batter Wasim Jaffer strongly supports Bhuvneshwar Kumar's return to the T20I squad for the upcoming series against New Zealand.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar's recall to India's T20I squad has received strong backing from former India batter Wasim Jaffer. Jaffer believes the experienced pacer's selection is based strictly on his performances and fitness rather than any favour.
The 36-year-old seamer has been brought back into the national setup for India's upcoming five-match T20I series against New Zealand. The series is scheduled to begin on October 22.
Expressing his firm stance on the matter, Jaffer pointed out that the veteran bowler's inclusion should have happened much earlier. According to him, the selectors did not do any special favour by picking the experienced campaigner.
