With plenty of attention fixed on the next wave of rising Australian talent, it was Sam Konstas, Nathan McSweeney, and Spencer Johnson who delivered stellar performances.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Australia posted a competitive total of 275 before being bowled out. Konstas spearheaded the innings with a fluent 67 runs from 88 balls, featuring seven fours and one majestic six.
Josh Philippe provided crucial support with a brisk 58 from 58 deliveries, while captain Nathan McSweeney added 32 runs from 39 balls. Holding a 1-0 lead coming into the fixture, Australia's total placed immediate pressure on the visitors.
