The first Test is scheduled at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka from May 8 to 12. The Sylhet International Cricket Stadium will host the second Test from May 16 to 20.

The Pakistan Cricket Board announced a 16-member squad, featuring four uncapped players, for its upcoming two-Test series against Bangladesh in May. The board also appointed former Test captain Sarfaraz Ahmed as the head coach for the tour.

Shan Masood will continue to captain the Test side for the series, which is part of the ICC World Test Championship. The selection committee included uncapped players Abdullah Fazal, Amad Butt, Azan Awais, and Muhammad Ghazi Ghori in the 16-man roster.

Former Test cricketers Asad Shafiq and Umar Gul will join Ahmed's staff as batting and bowling coaches, respectively. Ahmed previously led Pakistan to two ICC titles as captain and recently served as a mentor for the Pakistan U19 and Shaheens squads.

The team will assemble for a training camp in Karachi beginning April 27 before departing for Bangladesh on May 2. Players currently participating in the HBL Pakistan Super League will join the camp or travel directly to Bangladesh following the conclusion of their domestic tournament.
