Green available for Newlands Test but unable to bowl

Cameron Green has declared himself available for selection for the final Test against South Africa at Newlands. The allrounder has been sidelined since suffering an abdominal injury during the final ODI against South Africa on September 30.

While Green is fit to return to the playing XI, he will not be able to bowl in the upcoming fixture. His recovery restricts him to a purely batting role for the final match of the series.

When it comes to his preferred batting position, Green has indicated a strong preference for either the No. 4 or No. 5 spot in the lineup. However, the player has chosen to leave the final tactical call entirely up to the team management.
