Rehan Ahmed named in England Lions squad for West Indies tour

Legspinner Rehan Ahmed has been included in the England Lions white-ball squad for their upcoming tour of the West Indies.

The selection comes as the young bowler is urged to press his case following his omission from the senior tours of Pakistan and Australia.

Meanwhile, teenager Thomas Rew has been appointed to captain the England Lions during the Caribbean assignment.

Rew's elevation highlights the immense regard he commands within the national hierarchy following his recent senior call-up and central contract.
