New Zealand have been forced into a late tactical reshuffle ahead of their upcoming five-match T20I series against India. The selectors were compelled to make two alterations to the original touring party after losing key personnel to fitness concerns.

Middle-order asset Mark Chapman and pace-bowling option Zak Foulkes both failed to recover in time and have been officially ruled out of the entire rubber. Their absence deals a notable blow to the squad's balance as preparations ramp up for the high-profile assignment.

To plug the gaps left by the injured duo, team management has called up allrounder Josh Clarkson and fast bowler Blair Tickner. Both incoming players will look to make an immediate impact when the bilateral campaign gets underway.

The five-match showdown is officially scheduled to begin on October 22. With the series opener fast approaching, the revised New Zealand contingent will aim to settle their combination quickly in testing overseas conditions.
