Pybus Praises Afghanistan's 'Very Diverse but Very Competent Bowling Unit'

Afghanistan coach Richard Pybus has thrown his weight behind the team's bowling resources, pointing to their adaptability across various phases of the game. While Rashid Khan naturally commanded the spotlight as the standout performer throughout the UAE ODI tri-series, Pybus was keen to shift some of the focus toward the broader collective effort.

The mentor emphasized that the strength of the side lies in their multi-dimensional approach rather than relying solely on individual brilliance. According to the coaching staff, the bowling lineup features a blend of skill sets that make them exceptionally tough to counter in changing conditions.

Reflecting on the campaign, Pybus lauded the group as a 'very diverse but very competent bowling unit'. The remarks underline the strategic planning within the camp as they look to build a well-rounded squad capable of dismantling any batting order.
