Saransh Jain delivered an outstanding spell of bowling in the Ranji Trophy, finishing with career-best first-class figures of 7/40.

His destructive spell completely dismantled the opposition batting lineup, leaving Bihar struggling significantly at the crease.

The performance firmly placed Madhya Pradesh in a dominant position within the match as the bowlers ran through the innings.

The 33-year-old spinner had earlier made his Test debut for India during the second match against Sri Lanka earlier this year.

Despite that milestone, selectors chose to omit him from the upcoming two-match Test series against New Zealand.
