India secured their place in the Women's T20 Asia Cup final for the sixth time after earning a convincing victory over Bangladesh in Dubai.

Stellar individual displays from explosive opening batter Shafali Verma and off-spin allrounder Deepti Sharma carried the tournament favorites through to the summit clash.

Opting to dictate terms early, India established control through top-order aggression as Shafali set a scoring pace that put Bangladesh's frontline attack on the back foot during the powerplay.

Deepti Sharma then reinforced India's advantage, chipping in with valuable runs before weaving a tight spell with the ball to disrupt Bangladesh's run chase.

Bangladesh struggled to build sustained partnerships against a disciplined bowling setup, as regular wicket falls halted any realistic chance of a comeback.

Although both teams experienced lapses in the field throughout the match, India's depth across departments ultimately ensured a comfortable cushion.

The result keeps India on course for another continental title, while Bangladesh will aim to address their middle-order fragility ahead of upcoming international commitments.
