Jacob Bethell is set to return for England's white-ball tour of Australia following a knee injury that sidelined him since July. The Warwickshire all-rounder comes back into a near-full-strength squad for the three one-day internationals.

England have adjusted their roster for the five T20s to rest players ahead of the upcoming Test tour of South Africa. This rotation opens the door for 18-year-old Somerset wicketkeeper-batter Thomas Rew and Hampshire pace bowler Eddie Jack to earn their first international call-ups.

National selector Marcus North praised the teenage wicketkeeper, stating that Thomas Rew is an amazing young talent with great maturity for an 18-year-old. North also highlighted Eddie Jack as another great example of a system supporting and developing fast bowlers.

The tour gets underway with the opening ODI in Perth on 13 November and concludes with the final T20 match in Canberra on 2 December. This schedule precedes England's warm-up fixture in South Africa ahead of their three-Test series.

White-ball coach Brendon McCullum aimed for a strong side during the 50-over leg as part of preparations for next year's World Cup in southern Africa. However, the New Zealander acknowledged the necessity of rotating his squad for the T20 matches amid a packed winter itinerary.

Jofra Archer rejoins the pace attack for the ODIs after being rested for the Pakistan tri-series in October, though Jos Buttler remains sidelined following hamstring surgery. For the subsequent T20s, several frontline seamers and batters will be rested to focus on red-ball preparations.

Harry Brook will captain England across both formats throughout the entire tour of Australia. The fixtures feature high-profile encounters, including the opening T20 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 21 November.
