India's cricket selectors have announced significant squad changes ahead of the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand, leaving out Ravindra Jadeja and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Ahead of the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand, India's cricket selectors have enacted significant squad changes with an eye on the future. Notable absentees from the first trio of matches include Ravindra Jadeja, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Dhruv Jurel.
As the national team builds toward the 2027 World Cup, the selection panel has opted to reshape the squad balance. Axar Patel has been brought into the setup directly to replace Jadeja in the spin-all-rounder role.
Meanwhile, the selectors have also welcomed back Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan into the mix after reviewing the squad composition for the initial three games of the series.
